Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs

Delgado Community College is seeking an innovative, student-centered advocate to serve as the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. This position reports directly to the Chancellor and serves as the chief student affairs officer for the College. As the Chief Student Affairs Officer for the College, the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs provides leadership, vision, and direction for a comprehensive array of student affairs initiatives and departments. This leader directs the work of Student Affairs and must work collaboratively with the Office of Academic Affairs to promote an innovative and effective interdepartmental relationship between the two units. This key leadership position will be responsible for working with all directors and administrative personnel that fall within the Student Affairs area to expand and implement programs that will improve student recruitment, success, well-being, and engagement, with a focus on leveraging technology, data, enrollment, retention, graduation rates and innovative practices to create a supportive environment for all students. Reporting directly to the Chancellor, the position serves as a member of the Executive Team, working collaboratively toward the achievement of institutional goals and objectives.

Executive Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications

The Executive Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications, under the supervision of the Chief Communications, Advancement, and Strategic Initiatives Officer, is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and measuring Delgado Community College’s external and internal marketing, communications, public and media relations strategies. Provide communication support for fundraising, alumni relations, and other development/advancement activities. The Executive Director will chair the College’s Marketing Committee and collaborate with the Chancellor’s Office, Academic Affairs, Workforce Development, and the College’s Enrollment Management Committees on all college marketing and communications strategies. The Executive Director ensures policy and process alignment, guides brand awareness, increases visibility and supports efforts to drive enrollment to the college both on campus and online. The position leads and coordinates the strategic and tactical tasks and activities of the Office of Communications and Marketing including media and public relations, creative and graphic design, digital and social media, web design and management, photography, radio, podcast, and video production. The Executive Director also initiates, directs, and manages and ensures alignment of all college-wide marketing and public relations activities' including management and oversight of outsource public relations and marketing activities. With the Chancellor, College Research Manager, and the Chief Communications, Advancement, and Strategic Initiatives Officer, establish base-line performance indicators to include quarterly updates that inform ongoing college program marketing strategies. Performs all other duties as assigned by the Chief Communications, Advancement, and Strategic Initiatives Officer.

Adjunct Instructor- Health

Responsibilities include classroom and clinical teaching, course planning, exam prep and other programmatic activities as part of our Workforce Development Healthcare training offerings.

Director of Accounts Receivable

This position performs complex and confidential accounting and analytical work for Accounts Receivable Department. This position requires strong initiative and consistently dependable judgment in assuring compliance with Federal and State laws and policies as well as College policies and procedures governing the confidential financial information of students. The Director will provide leadership, training, and guidance to staff of the Accounts Receivable Office to achieve excellence in customer service that is integral with the goals and mission of the Department and the College. This position is directly responsible for the effective management of billing and collection of student accounts receivable for a diverse population of students across all campuses and sites. The Director is accountable for the oversight of all operations of the Accounts Receivable Department including fee assessment, billing, refunding, fee payment deadlines, accuracy of the Banner accounting system, assuring security and confidentiality of student information, and assuring that collection efforts are effective and compliant.
