Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the college in recruitment, retention, and completion of DE students.
• Assist the college in implementing the long-range institutional and financial plans for CROP.
• Recruit students in a given territory.
• Represent SoLacc at in-person and virtual high school and community college events as well as university sponsored, and community events as needed.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with high school guidance counselors, gatekeepers, and instructors.
• Engage with potential students, parents, and SoLAcc applicants regularly (phone, email, mail, and text), and serve as a point of connection for students from the moment of interest until they enroll for classes.
• Host individual and group campus visits.
• Maintain a student correspondence file.
• Manage a travel schedule and follow college travel procedures.
• Assist in executing events sponsored by CROP and the Admissions Departments.
• Design and order promotional materials.
• Perform other tasks as deemed necessary for operation of CROP.
• Complete Degree Audits on DE students.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Education:
2 years experience in recruitment, advising, registration, instruction, or completion within secondary or postsecondary
education or related field.
Or 1 year experience in recruitment, advising, registration, instruction, or completion within secondary or postsecondary
education or related field and an Associate Degree.
Or Bachelor’s Degree
Required Experience:
Unencumbered driver’s license.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and basic algebraic functions.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams), and LMS. Proficiency with online information storage applications, Microsoft OneDrive preferred.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with a diverse student population.
Experience with supporting English Language Learners.
