The Project Manager will manage multiple LED FastStart workforce training projects for manufacturing and logistics client companies across the state of Louisiana. LED FastStart is Louisiana's workforce development program designed to support economic growth by preparing and sustaining a skilled workforce for businesses expanding or relocating to the state. The program offers customized recruitment, training, and retention solutions at no cost to eligible companies, ensuring they have qualified employees ready to contribute from day one. We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team, responsible for overseeing various projects related to recruitment, training, and workforce initiatives for client companies throughout Louisiana. The ideal candidate will be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders while managing multiple projects to ensure successful workforce development outcomes. The ideal candidate will have extensive training experience in a manufacturing environment. The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of a client and/or partner agency's organization is a must. Solid organizational and planning skills will be required for management of multiple, concurrent programs with simultaneous development and delivery schedules.
Quality Management System (QMS) Specialist - LED FastStart

The Quality Management System (QMS) Specialist will work within LED’s workforce, focusing on quality programs for Client companies across the State of Louisiana. This position will be mainly responsible for providing guidance and support in training, developing, implementing, auditing, and maintaining a system of processes and procedures to ensure that Clients’ products and services meet established industry requirements and regulations. The QMS Specialist will act as an internal consultant to Clients in various industries to include; Aerospace, Automotive, Chemical, Electronics, Food & Beverages, Oil & Gas, Steel, Textile, Woodworking, etc., with a focus on establishing a solid quality management system. Specialized areas of interest will include Safety, Risk Management, ISO, API, FDA requirements, as well as engineering, lean methodologies, logistics, quality, manufacturing, and other business principles. LED FastStart training programs are offered to client companies on a 24/7 basis. The Quality Management System Specialist will be required to travel throughout Louisiana. This position will reside in Baton Rouge.
Graphic Designer I, II or III - LED FastStart

This position will be filled as one in a series: Graphic Designer I, II or III, depending on applicant qualifications. Two positions will be filled. The Graphic Designer (III) will be responsible for planning daily tasks, producing visuals, and developing assets for marketing materials, training modules, digital engagement, interactive experiences, and web-based media. The ideal candidate will work well with a creative team and be able to create engaging graphics for the diverse scope of LED projects, programs, and internal and external clients. using a variety of tools and software programs. The Graphic Designer (I, II or III) will have strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to align creative vision with broader organizational goals. They will generate creative visual elements for training materials and produce presentations, manuals, charts, illustrations, job aids, and manipulate photography as part of daily responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be able to innovate as well as follow approved templates, meet tight deadlines, maintain client confidentiality, and maintain quality standards. The Digital Designer (I, II or III) will be responsible for assisting the development of interactive training modules including eLearning, Simulations, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and other mixed reality platforms. Working with team members, the candidate will develop storyboards, prototypes, and establish guidelines for projects by authoring effective copy, audio, and video scripts that breakdown complex processes into engaging, interactive exercises and practice experiences. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of learning theories, previous working experience in training development, and a design focused on heavy gamification methodology as well as a curious and investigative nature to apply new principles to training and exceed client expectations. The Press Operator will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and operating the printing press to reproduce print materials. They will understand print production process, client expectations, and brand standards to ensure quality control. They will work closely with team members to follow project templates and timelines to meet project deadlines. The Press Operator will assist with maintaining inventory to ensure supplies are available and equipment is operational. The ideal candidate will be able to check print quality, troubleshoot problems, and perform routine maintenance on equipment. They will also maintain cleanliness in the production room and work well in a team environment. Position reports to Print Production Manager.
